Here's Dan meeting Ms. Ace for the
first time. It took them a while to get
all the belts tightened down and
adjusted properly. The horrible part
is that she goes back and forth
between buses (due to mechanical
glitches).

School began
August 8th, 2005
|
Daniel goes to school at Ridgeview Elementary. He
rides the bus there. In the morning he is the last to be picked
up and it takes about 25 minutes to get there. On the way
home is the last to be dropped off and he's on the bus about
an hour and a half. He calls his bus driver a maniac driver.
He has the same teacher again, Ms. Brown and 2 assistants,
Ms. White and Ms. Mason. Next year he goes to Junior High.
Kairstin and Wil started out at SBJ and a week later I moved
them to their home school. It is 1.4 miles from home, Argyle
Elementary. Some days they ride their bikes, catch a ride with
friends and occasionally they will walk. On Tuesday mornings
Kairstin has chorus practice before school, so she rides in
with the neighbor and walks home with her best friend Hope.
They both have 2 teachers. Kairstin's are Ms. Thoman and
Ms. Acosta and Wil's are Ms. Gresser and Ms. McGee.
All 3 of them are in Scouts. Dan does Scouting in the
Classroom. Wil does baseball; practice is on Sundays and
games are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Kairstin
is in a bowling league. She bowls each Saturday morning
through May.
