Deep Sea Fishing aboard the Mayport Princess.
August 11, 2007
Sunrise: 7:29 a.m.
Heading out for a day
of fishin'.  We would
end up 28 miles out in
to the Atlantic Ocean
searching for the big
one.
Kairstin goofing
around with camera;
we're not sure why she
likes to do this lately.
So far from land...let's
make a swim for it!
This photo cracks me
up.  Wil and Bill are
both standing exactly
the same way.  Like
Papa like grandson.
Snap shots from the day.
Wil eating dead
squid bait.
Not sure of the
name of shark that
Bill caught, but it
went back in to the
Atlantic.  It was
exciting, I thought.
I caught 3 of these,
Triggerfish and 2
Beeliners (not sure of
spelling).
Here fishy, fishy, fishy.
Wil caught this Amberjack, and he struggled for everybit of it.
"Man, the fish I caught
was this big... I would
let you see it, but it's
in the freezer".
I don't know why some pictures turned out blue, maybe due to the heat exposure.  Anyhow.  I caught
a total of 5, Bill caught 2 , Wil caught 2, and K caught 2.  Many more were caught and tossed back.
Including a sea bass, the shark, and poor Will's umpteen "just a hair short" beeliners.  Captain
George said if Wil caught a legal sized fish, he could drive the boat.  All the kids got to steer the boat
home at some point on our journey for land.
Keep checking the following site for a
better picture of Wil and K with their
fish.
